The productivity trap.

There is a lot of productivity apps out there and it could be a jungle. Which one to choose? Evernote or Notion? Either way keeping it simple is the way to go.

I’ve been trying a lot of apps from craft, todoist and notion and etc. But I have landed with both notion and Things 3 which is wonderful apps. Like Francesco D’Alessio says keep it to a minimum of some apps.

I’m a subscriber of his channel “keep productive” and the range of apps he tries almost everyday is cool but also frustrating for a user looking for a new system. Don’t get me wrong I love the channel and it’s content but a new app every week, it’s cool but frustrating.

Thanks to Francesco I found both things 3 and notion which is my main system at the moment. So many thanks.

I’m an apple fanboy wich uses 90% standard apps from apple, like email, calendar and weather. I’ve been using other email providers like SuperHuman and tho I like it cost 30$/month which is very expensive for a person living on welfare money. Also it only support gmail addresses at the moment which is troublesome because I use iCloud.

The point is keep it simple and don’t overdo by trying trying new just because they are new and promising. Find the system that works for you, I thought superhuman was my solution but email from apple works very well.

My minimum is two apps!

Keep it safe.
